Foreword

The revival of Mid Century Retro Art is evident in art galleries across the UK, America and more broadly around the world. Mid Century painting took many forms that range from abstract, geometrical works to the more diverse aspects of the 1950s that were driven by the evolution of space travel and the atomic age.
